Sam Robins27/07/2024We highly, highly recommend Scottify as a wedding DJ. Scott was the DJ for our wedding in June 2024, and he did an amazing job. His communication before the wedding was great. And he gives you the opportunity to have as little or as much influence in the music as you want. We appreciated that he really cared about playing the type of music that we wanted. At the wedding itself, he does an incredible job reading the dance floor and playing the right music at the right time. He seamlessly blends all of the songs, plays great music, and makes sure the dance floor is packed at all times! And he is also a very good MC. Maggie Ma29/06/2024Scott DJ’ed at our wedding. He was the very definition of a consummate professional. He was very communicative throughout the process leading up to the wedding. He was very receptive to listening to our story, to know and understand the theme and vibe we were going for. Leading up to the wedding he provided us a detailed and easy to follow form online to get our preferences regarding which specific songs to play at pivotal moments during the wedding. He had some ideas and provided some very insightful recommendations in regards to the flow of our schedule that come from his extensive prior experience with weddings. As for the wedding itself, Scott was very on point and on schedule. He came fully prepared for just about anything and was pleasantly surprised to see that the venue had a pretty robust AV setup already. He’s not only good at keeping on schedule with key moments during the ceremony/reception, during those in between times you can definitely tell that he knows how to read the room, set the right mood, and play great music. I told Scott as the wedding was wrapping up that I could surely tell that for him the experience was more than just a day of work, it was a work of art. Highly recommended. Leading up to the wedding, Scott was extremely communicative and came up with a plan to address the acoustics in the venue. On the day of, Scott seamlessly managed the microphones which worked perfectly for everything, including the ceremony and speeches. And of course, Scott rocked the music from the first song to the last. The pre-ceremony music was tasteful and special to me, the vibe at cocktail hour and dinner was tasteful and fun, and most importantly, the music had our dance floor packed ALL NIGHT LONG. It was important to us to hire a DJ that knew how to read the room and keep the party going - he did exactly that. He was also an excellent MC and did the job with ease. We received many compliments throughout the evening for the amazing music selection and that was all thanks to Scott. The dance floor was packed and the vibe was exactly right. Scott was super professional, friendly and knowledgeable in the leadup to our wedding. He was able to guide us through the process, and his online portal made it really easy for us to pick the songs we wanted to play. During our reception, he kept the crowd dancing all night, and was able to roll with the punches and seamlessly adapt when our schedule took a few unexpected turns. Honestly can't say enough good things about our experience with Scottify. Fatima F03/04/2024We had an amazing experience with Scott as our wedding DJ and photobooth service. He was very easy to work with and great at communicating. His online portal for music selection was so fun for my husband and I to use. I received comments from guests that they loved his music mix. The photobooth was also such a hit! Guests had so much fun and we received the digital copies promptly. For the prints, I loved how we had the option for them to be printed in a film strip format (like how the photobooths at the mall are) rather than the usual 4x6. Scott also incorporated design elements from our invitations and signage onto the prints so our theme was cohesive. Becky29/01/2024DJ Scottify absolutely brought the party at our NYE wedding! He was so easy to work with the months leading into the wedding and was so responsive to emails. He respected our must play and do not play song lists and mixed in so many bangers during the night. He also MC’d for us and killed all the wedding party intros. He kept our guests on the dance floor all night and rang in 2024 with the best songs! If we could throw a party every NYE we would 100% use DJ Scottify. We highly highly recommend him for your wedding or any event you’re looking to throw a great party!
