Scott is exactly that person! Not only did he do the job we hired him to do, he kept us sane, and offered really great suggestions around things like our wedding day itinerary based on what he's seen at other weddings. Scott's experience and professionalism is immediately evident when you meet him. He's also one of the nicest, most genuine, and positive people I've met in a while! As much as we wanted to create the best ever playlists for our wedding, time got away from us and we sent Scott a "skeleton" of what we wanted him to play. The entire experience of working with Scott during the planning process through to the actual wedding day was fantastic. It is clear that Scott loves what he does, that he cares about his customers, and wants to do a great job for their events. Leading up to the wedding, Scott's experience with weddings really showed through. Scott shared with us a template for brainstorming and scheduling the day of proceedings, and had lots of great suggestions for how he usually experiences music fitting into the different components of his customers' weddings. This helped us to choose music that we loved for the different parts of the celebration, but that we also knew would be suited at that part of the night e.g. cocktail hour vs dinner vs dancefloor. Scott also has a portal where you can synch your own Spotify and import song lists. The portal has sections for organizing the important songs for the day like processional, bride walk up, reception entrances etc. It was great for keeping us organized and helped us gradually select the music we wanted for the different components of the wedding without getting overwhelmed. When it came to the actual day, Scott did an amazing job. The ceremony was outdoors and the set up of speakers, the queuing of each song, and mic for the officiant were all perfect. Scott MCed with a tonne of energy and got everyone hyped up. He really kept things on point, managing the timing of the music and announcing transition points with lots of care, and reading the crowd during the dancefloor portion of the evening.
